Day 1
Haridwar/Rishikesh to Govindghat-------
Your journey begins with pickup from Haridwar or Rishikesh in the early morning. Drive towards Govindghat through scenic mountain roads alongside the Ganga, Alaknanda, and Mandakini rivers. En route, enjoy the beautiful confluence at Devprayag and mesmerizing Himalayan landscapes. After a long but scenic drive of around 10–11 hours, reach Govindghat (6,152 ft) and relax at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
Govindghat to Ghangaria-------
After breakfast, drive to Poolna and begin the trek towards Ghangaria. The trail passes through beautiful riverside paths, waterfalls, and lush greenery. The trek is well maintained and offers stunning mountain views throughout the journey. After trekking for about 5–6 hours, arrive at Ghangaria (10,101 ft), the base for Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Overnight stay at hotel/camp.
Day 3
Trek to Valley of Flowers----------
Today, explore the breathtaking Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its colorful alpine flowers and stunning natural beauty. Trek through picturesque valleys, wooden bridges, and flower-covered meadows while enjoying panoramic Himalayan views. During peak season, the valley blooms with vibrant flowers like Blue Poppy, Himalayan Rose, and Meadow Geranium. After exploration, return to Ghangaria for overnight stay.
Day 4
Trek to Hemkund Sahib----------
Start early in the morning for the trek to the sacred Hemkund Sahib (14,100 ft). The trail is steep but rewards you with spectacular mountain scenery, waterfalls, and glacier views. Visit the famous Gurudwara and the serene glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Spend some peaceful time at this holy site before descending back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay at hotel/camp.
Day 5
Ghangaria to Govindghat----------
After breakfast, begin the descent trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat. Walk through the same scenic trail surrounded by rivers and mountains while enjoying the final moments of the trek. Upon reaching Govindghat, relax and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6
Govindghat to Haridwar/Rishikesh---------
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar or Rishikesh with beautiful memories of the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib trek. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive and reach your destination by evening, marking the end of the tour.
